Service Description
4 Fortnightly Class Bundle (save £10) Seasonal Yin Yoga Softening the edges of modern life Step into a deeply restorative experience combining Yin Yoga, Guided Shamanic Meditation & Sound Healing to help you slow down, release tension & reconnect with yourself. What is Yin Yoga? Yin Yoga is a slow, meditative practice using long held floor postures to gently target the deeper connective tissues of the body, including the fascia, joints, hips, pelvis, and spine. Unlike more active styles of yoga, Yin encourages stillness, softness, and surrender. Poses are held for several minutes, allowing the body to release tension whilst soothing the nervous system, flexibility, mindfulness, and inner awareness. Rooted in both yoga philosophy and Chinese medicine, Yin Yoga also works with the body’s energetic pathways, helping to restore balance and flow. Guided Shamanic Sound Journey Each class ends with a deeply relaxing Guided Shamanic Journey accompanied by live Sound Healing. Shamanic practices have been used for thousands of years across many cultures as a way to connect more deeply with nature, intuition, spirit, and inner wisdom. A shamanic journey uses rhythm, sound, meditation, and visualisation to guide you into a calm, dreamlike meditative state where the mind can quieten and the body can deeply rest. During the journey, live instruments such as drums, singing bowls, flutes, chimes, and soothing vocals create an immersive soundscape designed to calm and ground the body, and encourage deep relaxation and mental clarity. What to Expect *Long held Yin postures *Guided meditation & breath awareness *Live sound healing *Deep rest & stillness *A welcoming space for all levels What to Bring *Yoga mat *Blanket *Warm comfortable layers *Water bottle No experience needed. Beginners welcome. Journey Through the Chakras On the 3rd September we will begin an 8-part Yin Yoga series inviting a profound exploration of the body’s seven energy centres. Rooted in yogic wisdom and subtle body traditions, it offers a space for self-enquiry, healing, embodiment, and deeper connection. Each 85-minute, fortnightly class is devoted to one chakra, weaving together Yin Yoga, breathwork, meditation, visualisation, shamanic journeying, reflection, and sound healing. Moving from root to crown, students are guided to cultivate awareness, restore balance, and reconnect with their innate wisdom. Small intimate group space — reserve your place early.
