About Emma

With over 25 years of experience as a Holistic Practitioner, I support individuals in restoring balance, easing physical tension, and reconnecting with their natural sense of wellbeing. Grounded in my own healing journey, my work is dedicated to offering tools that support healing and self empowerment, helping you soothe yourself from within, build resilience, and reconnect with your centre.

I offer integrative healing sessions designed to help you feel more grounded, clear, balanced, and connected to yourself. Sessions support your body and nervous system to relax deeply, restore coherence, and create a greater sense of calm and wellbeing.

Drawing from a range of practices including shamanic healing, yoga, sound healing, therapeutic bodywork ranging from relaxation and pregnancy massage to deep tissue work, energy healing techniques, and reflexology, each session is tailored to your needs in the moment. I create calm and supportive spaces where healing can unfold naturally with presence, compassion, and care, allowing your body’s own wisdom to guide the process.

Healing is not something done to you, it arises from within. My role is to walk alongside you with care and awareness, supporting empowerment, resilience, and deeper connection to yourself. No belief system is required, only a willingness to arrive as you are.

I also teach holistic healing courses for those who feel called to deepen their connection to themselves and others. Whether you wish to learn for personal growth and self healing, or to become a professional holistic practitioner, my courses are designed to help you develop confidence, awareness, and authentic healing skills, always beginning with yourself first.

My Journey

My path into healing began long before I understood what healing truly was.

I grew up surrounded by addiction, emotional chaos, and abuse, and left my dysfunctional family home at a young age. Like many who grow up in these environments, I learned early how to survive by disconnecting from myself. Anxiety, hypervigilance, and deep feelings of not belonging shaped much of my early life.

Yet alongside that difficulty, there was always another thread running through me.

From a very young age, I was deeply sensitive and spiritually aware. I began meditating and exploring energy, intuition, and spiritual practices from around the age of eight. Those practices became a lifeline for me. During times when I felt unsupported or misunderstood, spirituality helped me stay connected to something deeper within myself.

As a teenager, after experiencing intense challenges both at home and at school, I came close to losing myself in the same cycles of drugs and alcohol that surrounded many of my family and peers. But something in me knew there had to be another way. My spiritual practice kept me grounded when little else did.

In my early teens, I discovered Usui Reiki, a Japanese healing art that opened the door to energy healing and a more conscious path of self-discovery. Soon after, I found yoga — and everything began to change.

Yoga became more than movement; it became a way home to myself.

This led me into massage therapy and sports therapy studies, followed by a degree in Complementary Healthcare specialising in Reflexology. During this chapter of my life, I met people whose kindness, friendship, and support profoundly impacted me. Their belief in me helped shape the person I was becoming, and I will always carry deep gratitude for them.

I later moved to Greece, where I worked as a holistic practitioner along the beautiful coastal shores, building lifelong friendships and deepening my connection to healing work and community.

Around the age of twenty, I began working regularly with a shamanic healer whose guidance transformed my life. Over six years of regular healing sessions, I slowly learned how to love myself, reconnect with my body, and begin healing the deeper wounds I carried. That journey eventually led me to Peru, where I immersed myself in shamanic practice and deep personal healing work.

I returned home understanding that true healing is not a destination but an ongoing path — one that asks for honesty, humility, courage, and continual self-awareness.

Around this same time, I discovered Forrest Yoga, a practice that profoundly transformed me through its depth, breathwork, emotional honesty, and embodied approach to healing. It helped me reconnect not only with strength in my body, but with parts of myself I had long disconnected from. I went on to train in Forrest yoga and yoga bodywork, travelled with senior teachers assisting on trainings, and immersed myself deeply in the practice for several years. I also explored sound healing as a powerful tool for transformation and nervous system support.

Eventually, I moved to Linlithgow, where I began teaching and slowly building the community that surrounds my work today.

Over the past eight years, that community has grown into a space where people come to reconnect with themselves through yoga, sound healing, shamanic healing, bodywork, courses, and workshops rooted in compassion, authenticity, and embodied healing.

During my own healing journey, I also came to understand the reality of scapegoat abuse and narcissistic family systems, finally finding language for much of what I had experienced growing up. That understanding brought profound clarity to my life and relationships. It also opened my eyes to how normalised these patterns of emotional disconnection and psychological abuse can become within families and wider culture.

Many of the people who find their way to my work identify as the “black sheep” of their family, highly sensitive individuals, caregivers, or those recovering from narcissistic abuse and chronic emotional stress. The practices I offer have helped me move from survival into deeper connection, empowerment, and self-trust, and it is an honour to share them with others.

Whether you are seeking relief from physical tension, emotional healing, spiritual connection, or simply a space to rest and receive care, you are welcome here exactly as you are.
