Beginner-Friendly Yoga & Sound Healing Classes

Join Emma for a beginner-friendly Forrest Yoga practice followed by a deeply restorative Sound Journey.

Designed to support both body and mind, regular practice can help you release tension, improve posture, build strength, and cultivate greater calm and relaxation. With consistency, you'll develop a deeper connection to your body and breath, helping you feel stronger, lighter, more grounded, and more connected to yourself.

Created by Ana Forrest, Forrest Yoga is a therapeutic style of Hatha yoga developed for the physical and emotional demands of modern life. It combines mindful movement, conscious breathing and core awareness with a functional approach to movement.

What sets Forrest Yoga apart is its focus on how you feel rather than how a pose looks. Instead of only striving for perfect alignment, you are encouraged to listen to your body, explore movement with curiosity and work at your own edge. Over time, this can help release tension, improve posture and mobility, and build physical and emotional resilience.

Each class begins with a grounding arrival before flowing into a carefully sequenced, progressive series of postures. Expect a blend of challenge and ease, with opportunities to move deeply, create space in the body and discover new levels of relaxation. Every posture can be adapted to you, making the sessions welcoming for complete beginners, experienced practitioners and during pregnancy. No previous yoga experience or flexibility is required.

With consistent attendance, the benefits can deepen, supporting greater physical ease, body awareness and resilience both on and off the mat.

Each class ends with a deeply restorative Sound Journey. Lie back and let the soothing sounds of singing bowls, flutes, chimes, voice and other therapeutic instruments wash over you, creating space for the mind to quieten and the body to fully let go. It is a chance to simply be, allowing the effects of the yoga to settle and integrate.

Together, Forrest Yoga and Sound Healing create a beautiful balance of movement and stillness, strength and softness, energy and deep rest — leaving you feeling grounded, renewed and more connected to yourself.
