I wanted to include yoga in my website as it has been such a big part of my healing journey, along with shamanism. I use it as a way to check in with myself daily, which helps to keep me balanced in mind, body and spirit. The benefits are huge and have many layers. Yoga moves the body to lubricate the joints with synovial fluid, stretches the fascia and strengthens the postural muscles- all helping to prevent common issues caused by aging and modern living. It also helps to bring the mind into union with the body; creating greater awareness to where physical and emotional ease and also tension are held, helping to gently relax into acceptance of what is there and allowing for gentle release with the breath. These are just some of the benefits to enjoy! There are many styles of yoga which I have tried and, if yoga calls you, I encourage you to go on your own journey to find which style and teacher is right for you.

I love to collaborate with yoga teachers, bringing in Sound Healing to the practice. If you are a teacher or event creator and would like me to share sound healing, I would love to hear from you!
I also plan to start my own journey into yoga teacher training in 2019. This may be to improve my personal practice or I may even begin teaching! Excited to see what will unfold…
